It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Families getting together, Christmas lights and festive decorations as far as the eye can see.
We are constantly looking for ways to help improve people’s lives through healthy eating, exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle. To wrap up the year we would like to share some key figures from our service and how they have made an impact on those taking part. And if you aren’t already signed up for our service, maybe these figures will inspire you to take part in the New Year.
Manage your weight
Our weight management course is designed by experts and proven to help you lose weight in a safe and sustainable way. Overall, we had more than 1550 people signed up for our weight management course this year.

Our Smoke Free service is led by expert advisers who provide tips and tools to help you quit smoking. This year we continued to run our successful Stoptober event, encouraging participants to give up smoking for good. We also had more than 2280 people committing to our Smoke Free programme in order to quit smoking for good.

Our Eat Well service gives you free access to health and wellbeing coaches who can help you improve what you eat. This year more than 493 people took part in our Eat Well courses, consisting of 1x60minutes personal assessment and 6×30 minute support sessions.

We deliver a wide range of physical activity classes, including weekly walking and exercise groups. We also offer personal support from a Health and Wellbeing Coach, who will complete a physical activity assessment with you and then help you set personal goals to be more active. Overall, more than 238 people took part of our Move More programme this year.

Our Cook Well service teaches you how to cook healthy, delicious and money saving meals for you and your family. Our classes are hands-on, practical, fun and friendly. We have a range of different courses, so whether you’re a beginner in the kitchen or a super-confident cook, there’s something to suit.
