About the course:
Our course has been designed by leading professionals in the field of nutrition, dietetics, psychology, physiology and physical activity. It has shown to be effective in aiding weight management in a safe and sustainable way.
There are many reasons that you may wish to reduce your weight, perhaps you want to improve your health or reduce the effects of obesity related conditions, but whatever your motivation is, our free course will help you to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
Over 12 weekly, 1 hour sessions our friendly health and wellbeing coaches will guide you through the following five key areas of the programme:
Getting the balance right
The fullness factor
Retraining your appetite
Skills for weight management
These components are surrounded by a circle of support which is key to making successful changes and enjoying the physical and mental benefits that come with them.
How to Get Involved
Sign up to our Manage Your Weight programme and one of our Health Coaches will be in touch to get you started.
You’ll have a personal chat about your current health first and then will receive instructions for joining the sessions.
Recording what, when and why you eat can help you understand a lot about your eating patterns and areas for change. Try keeping a diary for two weeks and see if you can identify healthy changes you could make. Information on keeping a food diary can be found here.
