This month, we interviewed our new Health Coach Joe to find out a bit more about his background and experience.
What were you doing before you came to One You Leeds?
Before working at One You Leeds I worked in exercise rehabilitation for cancer patients and those with other serious health conditions.
What excites you most about joining One you Leeds?
I am looking forward to applying my experiences of working in sport and in clinical settings to help improve the health of each person who uses our service.
What is your main advice for staying healthy over winter?
One of the best things to do to stay healthy during winter is to stay as active as you can, how you do this will vary between people but it is important that you do something that you can look forward to doing each day.
It is also important to limit snacks, eat your 5 a day and that you stay in touch with friends and family regularly, even though it is difficult at the moment.
